Daily Musings—Part 3—Wait... We're Supposed to Live for Yahshua?

Live your best life! Love yourself! You have only one life to live, do you! We're going to sin; He understands. He doesn't expect us not to have sex before marriage; he made sex so we are forgiven. You have to live for yourself. He expects us to live our lives to the fullest. Turn up! You can wear what you want to wear. He looks at the heart. Do what you think is right.
I'm sure you've heard some of those phrases when you were in the world, but sadly, you also hear them in pulpits, from influencers, and from artists who label themselves as "Christian." Living a willfully sinning, flawed life steeped in selfishness is the norm. But they boast that they are a new creation in Christ. But what makes us new if we live how we want to live? If we are living the same as before we came "out of the world," now, we can speak in tongues and operate on different platforms and tweak the audience.
There is an epidemic called "picking and choosing which part of the word fits your lifestyle and throwing the rest out." But when you go back and slowly read 2nd Corinthians chapter 5, verses 14 and 15, tells us a very important mindset and outlook we must adopt to walk in the newness of Christ:
14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
Wait a minute. You mean to tell me that we are supposed to live for Yashua Ha'Mashach and not for ourselves? According to the word of Yah, yes. The belief system of the world is pride-based. So for those of us born again, we are now living humility-based. Our mindset is to reflect that of Christ, His character, His teachings, and His ways, and we are to walk in allegiance to the Most High. We are called to step up from the cesspool of greed, selfishness, lust, and idolatry. We must live for Him. Yahshua was sent from Yahuah, His only begotten son, obtained the human experience but remained without sin, and gave up His life to the point of shedding blood. Died, then rose again so that we can be redeemed from the curse of the law, which houses sin and death.
Doing what you want to do is not living because you are living out the pleasures and demonic mindset of death. It's like constantly going back to eat the fruit that Adam and Eve ate, which caused a major spiritual death that affected all of mankind.
Although we don't "want" our divine creator, we frequently wish to live a life that benefits from Him. That's similar to getting married or being in a committed relationship with someone for financial gain or other advantages that you otherwise couldn't obtain on your own, but you also have men or women you hang out with on a regular basis, and you even give the money you receive from your spouse or significant other to them. Being a slut or a whore may seem enjoyable until the repercussions set in. Passed from one demonic altar to another, a broken soul, racked with wounds and personality problems, infused with demons. Furthermore, you will never live your life outside of Christ on your own terms. Although Satan tricks you into believing you are doing it for yourself, you are really living for the enemy. Living in hell and believing that it is life fulfillment is the same thing as dying and entering real hell. Additionally, you are persuading others to join you, especially the next generation that is tied to your bloodline.
If we are going to live in Christ, let's live in Him and for Him. He is the only one who can guide us through this journey safely to the other side. He is our protection and strength. When Yahuah sees the blood on us, He sees His son. We are provided for, and the enemy cannot find anything in us as we set our affections on the heavenly things above. The thief cannot break in and steal what is founded and hidden in Christ. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
We are not our own, and there is such a beautiful peace in surrendering to Him. Giving Him all our cares and concerns and humbling ourselves and our ways to learn His. Gaining a heart of understanding and walking in heavenly wisdom. There is true safety in entrusting our total self to Him.
Whatever the world is doing is what it's going to do. We are traveling through while housed in tents that will be traded in for glorified bodies, HalleluYah! So be encouraged and keep focusing on Yah. There is a sure reward that will last for eternity. True life in Him. And we will see how our lives are being molded into beautiful crafts by the Potter's hands. We belong to Him, His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Truly love Yah. Because He wholeheartedly loves you. Be new!
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
